The Congregation of the sisters of of St. Anne was founded in the year 1874 by Smt. Thatipathri Gnanamma, the Servant of God, had a great legacy of its Vision & Mission in the History of Our Congregation. Under the patronage of St. Anne, our Congregation launched into various services mainly educational for transmitting the knowledge, & values, the Society needs most, such as honesty, uprightness, respect for every human person, respect for nature etc for integral formation of the human Society.

Our Educational Apostolate has got a significant place in our Congregation having its roots from its origin, with a good number of educational institutions in many parts of our Country, catering educational needs for all the sections of people without any discrimination right from primary level to professional level. As such, the sisters of St .Anne consider this ministry as the prime need for holistic education & integral growth of all the students entrusted to our care & to envisage a better India & better World tomorrow

One such College is St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy

St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy established by our Congregation in the year 2007, as an institution oriented towards the cause of need-based education aiming at optimum growth. Our vision and single minded dedication saw the college to evolve from a humble beginning with just one course – B. Pharmacy to a model college providing ample amenities, creating the best ambience to pursue value based quality education. With in short span of time, M. Pharmacy course was introduced to facilitate the under graduate students to go for higher learning.

The very purpose of starting these courses is to empower our students with human, social, life skills to bring out the total personality development. Needless to say that, the academic, social, ethical and spiritual elements of St. Ann’s college, combines to offer the students window of opportunities to make them fit in a highly competitive world.

I wish and pray that the team of our St. Ann’s college would enjoy doing their works with all honesty and integrity for the greater cause of education, leading towards Nation building.
